So it’s about 7:20pm and we decided instead of making dinner we would just eat shrimp and some other small stuff. I took 2 double shots of captain morgan. So I’m feeling a little alcohol. (pause I’m taking a shot as I write this)

Ok I’m back. Well what happened is pretty interesting. So the shrimp was on a tray in the toaster oven and it was toasted three times already. Matt goes for a fourth. Somewhere in there I asked Matt if the shrimp was soggy and he said “I’ll take care of it.” All I needed to hear. This is what happened soon after that.

“Guys we have a kind of fire situation here” – Matt
I see smoke then say, “Like an actual fire?” – Dave

There is a fire in the bottom of the toaster oven. Matt takes out the shrimp, relieved that they were not on fire. We stare at the fire as we try to figure out the best way to put it out. I grab a can of air and suggest we blow it out, but then realize that a can of air is actually flammable. Thank goodness we didn’t try that. Matt asks for a cup of water and then throws the water into the fire, putting it out. We are all relieved.
